NASCAR Grand National — 2003-20062004 - Finished seventh overall in his opening season. Second in Rookie of the Year battle. NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown 2004, 2005, 2006. Qualified 3rd at Fontana in 2005 and 2006.
CASCAR (Canada) — 1998-Present
1998 - National and Western Rookie of the Year. In 2000 Daryl was voted Canada’s Most Popular Driver. In 2002 he became CASCAR’s youngest Champion at only 20 years of age. His remarkable five year CASCAR career saw many accomplishments including multiple race wins.
International Karting Federation 1990-1997
Starting his racing career in 1991, at the age of eight, he won five IKF karting championships in only eight years of competition.
For 2007 Daryl’s goal is to begin working with a Cup, Busch or Truck as a development driver, with an ultimate objective of a full time career in NASCAR Racing. He is experienced and comfortable on large tracks (Kansas, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Sears Point, California Speedway and Pikes Peak) as well as prominent short tracks including Irwindale and Bakersfield.
Daryl is a University of Alberta graduate, his Degree in Business and Marketing was earned from one of the highest regarded Business schools in Canada. He understands that being successful in professional motorsports comes from more than the activities at the racetrack.
